Shipping Policy
We are currently shipping to continental US addresses only. We will ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and non-US destinations, but please email us
for a quote on shipping. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. All orders are shipped UPS Ground. If you need express shipping, please email or call
us and we will give you a quote.
Privacy Policy
Where’s the Bathroom will never sell, loan, rent or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance. The information
we collect is used solely to process your order. We are committed to protecting our customers’ privacy.
Security
The site is hosted by Google! Checkout which uses 28 Bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of data, such
as financial services or payment information. A padlock icon is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that
involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time a Google! Checkout asks for a credit card number, it will be SSL encrypted. The
information you provide will be stored securely on our servers.
Custom
Yes, we provide custom design. All you have to do is submit your ideas and we'll provide sketches. We do require that your total
order be 4 signs or more when we're doing a custom sign. Please note that we own the rights to the designs unless specific arrangements
have been made.
Logos
We do cut "logo” signs, but because the signs read from 2 sides, your logo needs to read backwards, and it must contain a continuous shape.
Payment
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you don't want to use a credit card online then call us and we can
take your information over the phone.
Return Policy
Returns will be accepted within 30 days. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility
of the customer.
Lead Time
Most items will ship within 2 or 3 days from the time you place your order. We will contact you if there is a delay in shipping due to temporarily
out of stock items.
Sales Tax
We collect 6% Michigan sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in Michigan, unless tax exempt. Residents in other states are responsible
for complying with local state tax laws.
Installation
We ship the sign and bracket with screws and anchors. Two screws hold the aluminum bracket in place, then the lightweight sign simply slips in. Easy.
Sustainable
Our signs are constructed of lightweight, black, 1/2" Starboard (HDPE 2). After their useful life, the aluminum bracket and plastic sign can be
sent back to us, and we'll make sure they get recycled at the proper facility.

Mike Gorman and Lin Ver Meulen, principals of Square One Design revved up "Where's the Bathroom?” in 2000. For
more than 20 years, Mike and Lin have specialized in helping businesses become better through innovation and design. This noble cause
includes enhancing work environments (and who can argue that getting people to the bathroom in a timely fashion is not a worthy pursuit?).
The signs Mike and Lin created were so successful and welcomed that "Where's the Bathroom?” was born, making these commodities
available to all who appreciate clarity and style.
